Falls Church Festival 2023: See Taste Menu, Road Closures

FALLS CHURCH, VA — The fall season will arrive with a bang in the Little City with the Falls Church Festival and Taste of Falls Church on Saturday, Sept. 23. Details have been announced for the Taste of Falls Church menu, live entertainment schedule and more.
The festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the City Hall grounds, 300 Park Ave., Falls Church, VA. Along with the tastings from participating restaurants, the festival will have beer garden, live music, children's entertainment, and booths from local crafters, businesses, and civic organizations. Admission is free, but food, drinks and some activities have a cost. The event will be held rain or shine.
There will be 12 participating restaurants offering tasting menus, and a Beer Garden sponsored by Tori McKinney Rock Star Realty Group will return with beers from Audacious Aleworks and Solace Outpost. Taste tickets for food and beer are $3 each and will be available with cash at the outdoor ticket booths or inside the Falls Church Community Center with credit cards. There is no onsite ATM. Tickets will not be sold after 3:30 p.m.

As for entertainment, there will be a main stage for live music and a children's stage. Children's crafts, pony rides and amusments will be available between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The festival will prompt a closure of Little Falls Street between Park Avenue and Great Falls Street on Saturday, Sept. 23. Only festival and farmers market vendors will be able to access the street from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. From 10 a.m. to noon, Little Falls Street will reopen to traffic only from Great Falls Street. After noon, the road will reopen in both directions.
Parking will be available on sides streets and the Kaiser Permanente Garage. Festival attendees are asked not to park in private parking lots. Accessible parking will be available on Great Falls Street, and parking at City Hall will open after the Farmers Market ends at 12 p.m.
