Falls Church Festival Rescheduled Due To Potential Tropical Storm
A storm system that could turn into a tropical storm in the Mid-Atlantic prompted Falls Church to reschedule its festival.

FALLS CHURCH, VA — A storm system will spoil plans for the Falls Church Festival Saturday, but the event will happen later in the weekend.
The Falls Church Festival is rescheduled for Sunday, Sept. 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on City Hall and Community Center grounds, 300 Park Avenue, Falls Church, VA. The event was originally scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 23 but was moved due to a storm system in the Mid-Atlantic that could become a tropical storm. Participating vendors, Taste of Falls Church restaurants, rides, and entertainment could change. Updates will be shared on the city's website.
The Falls Church Education Foundation’s Run for the Schools is still on for Sunday, but the start time is changed from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Participating runners will get a taste ticket for the Falls Church Festival.
