FALLS CHURCH, VA — The months-long traffic signal issue at a Falls Church intersection will be fixed, according to city government.

The Great Falls Street and Lincoln Avenue signal has been out of commission for months, and drivers were faced with a four-way stop as a replacement. Some readers in our Falls Church traffic survey shared safety concerns about the busy intersection and called for a fix.

Well, that time has come as the City of Falls Church said a new cabinet is being installed from 9 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m. Saturday. The intersection will remain open.
