Falls Church Woman Found Dead in Upstate New York

Linda Cheplick was found dead in the Mays Creek in Elmira Heights in upstate New York on Sunday, according to the Associated Press. The news organization reported her body was identified on Monday.

Cheplick, of Falls Church, was allegedly visiting relatives in the area, according to the AP.

A message for Elmira Heights Police Chief Rick Churches on Tuesday was not immediately returned.

A message left at Cheplick’s Falls Church home Tuesday afternoon was also not returned immediately.
