I-95 Crash, Police Activity Affects Buses: NoVA, DC Morning Traffic

On the Roads

As of 7:33 a.m., a disabled vehicle is causing delays on eastbound I-66 near the Capital Beltway in Fairfax County. The eastbound left shoulder and left lane are closed.

As of 7:24 a.m, a disabled vehicle is causing delays on northbound I-95 near Old Keene Mill Road/Franconia Road in Fairfax County. The northbound left shoulder is closed.

As of 7:18 a.m., a disabled vehicle is causing delays on northbound I-495 north of Dulles Toll Road. The northbound right shoulder is closed.

As of 7:18 a.m., a crash was reported on northbound I-95 near Courthouse Road in Spotsylvania County. The northbound right shoulder is closed.

As of 6:50 a.m., a disabled vehicle is causing delays on northbound I-495 north of Little River Turnpike in Fairfax County. The northbound right shoulder is closed.

As of 6:35 a.m., a disabled vehicle is causing delays on northbound I-95 near Russell Road in Prince William County. The northbound right shoulder is closed.

As of 6:32 a.m., WTOP Traffic reported a disabled truck on westbound Maine Avenue SW at Independence Avenue SW in Washington, DC. The right lane was blocked.

On the Metro

Police activity on Eastern Avenue NE at Minnesota Avenue may cause Metrobus delays on R12, U7, V14 and W4 in Washington, DC.

Blue Line service is not operating south of Reagan National Airport through Nov. 5 due to Metro's Blue and Yellow Line construction. Shuttle buses and other alternatives are available. There is no Yellow Line service, with Blue and Green Line service replacing Yellow Line service.

Weather

Parts of the mountains as well as western Loudoun County, Spotsylvania County and Fauquier County are under a frost advisory Monday morning. That means temperatures as low as 36 are creating frost. The advisory expires at 9 a.m. Monday's forecast calls for sunny conditions with a high near 68 and clear at night with a low of 45.
