FALLS CHURCH, VA — The new West Falls development in Falls Church is getting a little sweeter.

Ice Cream Jubilee, a locally-founded shop, is opening at 151 W Falls Station Blvd. in Falls Church on Friday. The shop will offer $1 scoops from noon to 2 p.m. on Friday's opening day. The location, along with other Ice Cream Jubilee shops, will offer $2 scoops for moms for Mother's Day on Sunday.

The shop is also known for its ice cream sandwiches featuring freshly baked sea salt chocolate chip cookies by Bethesda-based Sunday Morning Bakehouse.
