Lane Closure Begins At Seven Corners Intersection: VDOT

A lane of the Arlington Boulevard service road at the Seven Corners intersection will be closed through Oct. 7.

SEVEN CORNERS, VA — A lane closure will impact the Seven Corners intersection starting Monday through Oct. 7, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

The lane closure impacts the northbound lane of the bridge over Route 50/Arlington Boulevard west of Route 7/Leesburg Pike/E. Broad Street. The bridge connects the eastbound Route 50 service road with the westbound Route 50 service road. The southbound lane of the bridge will remain open.

In addition, drivers can expect lane closures on Route 50 through lanes from Monday to Oct. 7 during the following times:

  • Mondays through Thursdays: 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Fridays: 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Friday nights: 10 p.m. to 9 a.m.
  • Saturday nights: 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.
  • Sunday nights: 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

VDOT crews will be cleaning and painting the connector bridge. Traffic from the northbound Route 50 connector road bridge will be detoured via the eastbound Route 50 service road and Route 7 to the westbound service road.
