Road Closure Affects West Falls Church Residential Area
A road in the West Falls Church area north of Arlington Boulevard will be closed during the day for VDOT work.
WEST FALLS CHURCH, VA — A road closure will affect a neighborhood in West Falls Church over several days this week.
The Virginia Department of Transportation will close Lawrence Drive between Elmwood Drive and Adams Lane to through traffic between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday. The road closure will allow workers to place a new pipe and drainage structure. The road closure affects a residential neighorhood north of Arlington Boulevard.
Through traffic will take a detour through Elmwood Drive, Rogers Drive and Adams Lane back to Lawrence Drive. Residents needing to access properties along Lawrence Drive will only have access via Adams Lane. Elmwood Drive traffic can follow the detour route to access Lawrence Drive.
