Tell us about your business and its history in your town.

M&M Floors, Inc. is a family-owned and operated business incorporated in 1976. We have a complete showroom located in Merrifield, Virginia. M&M Floors, Inc. has been Northern Virginia's leader in high quality flooring service for over 45 years. Our quality and standards are the best in the industry. We are committed to doing things right and we stand behind our work. If you want a superior, professional job, we are the ones to call! There is no other company in the Northern Virginia area that has been doing floors for over 45 years.

We are licensed, insured and bonded, and have been a Class A Contractor since 1979. All of our crews are highly skilled and trained by us. Most of our flooring mechanics have been with the company over 15 years and our estimators bring to you their knowledge of doing floors for over 30 years.

From the first contact with our friendly professional showroom staff — whether by phone, email or a visit to our showroom to look at our wide variety of products — this high level of knowledge and experience is apparent. We will bring you the highest quality standards and we are up-to-date on the industry changes with environmental considerations, new products and equipment. How has the new coronavirus impacted your business and its employees?

COVID-19's impact on our family-owned business has been incredibly difficult during these times. We have sadly had to lay off tons of our hardworking employees, which breaks our hearts. We are a business that survives on consumer sales and customer interaction and working inside our consumers' homes. This pandemic has rapidly put a stop to our business and a halt on our employees livelihood.

How can local customers support you now and in the future?

Locals can support us during this difficult time of ours by booking virtual estimates online. They can refer our company to a friend for when the country returns to normal. Local customers can help us out by writing positive reviews for our company on social media in the comfort of their homes.

Do you have any words of encouragement for your community?

We have a huge heart for all of the other local businesses who are struggling to survive during this difficult time. If we all work together, we can get through these tough challenges!

Are you offering any special services, promotions or hours during this time?

During this difficult time we are offering historically low prices for hardwood floors. We are offering free, safe, virtual estimates to talk with our top consultants. Showroom is still open but limited to two customers at a time for a safe social distancing.
