
City of Falls Church Residents Need Stickers on Cars by Nov. 15
By Nov. 15, residents of the City of Falls Church must have registration stickers in their windows or face ticketing. Parking enforcement will start ticketing on Nov. 16. New city residents have 60 days to register their vehicles with the Office of the Commissioner of the Revenue in City Hall. Vehicles can be registered for a year for $25. A separate fee applies to trucks, motorcycles, taxis and buses.

Fearsome Ghosts, Ghastly Mutants, Bloodsucking Vampires and the Walking Dead are just a few of the new pupils at , and they are looking to add YOU to the student... body!
On Oct. 28 and Oct. 29th, the Falls Church High School Drama Department will be putting on a bloody good show with the Annual Haunted House.
The haunted house will be open between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Oct. 29. There will be two separate show times on Oct. 30: a less scary kid's show from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. and the regular fright night show from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m.
Tickets are $5 for adults, and $3 for children under the age of 10. Proceeds will benefit the Falls Church High School Drama Department. For more information visit the FCHS drama department at www.fchsdrama.org, or email bascott@fcps.edu.
Volunteers Needed for Citywide Program
Volunteers are needed for the 1-2-1Mentoring Program, an after-school program created by the Falls Church City Alliance for Youth. The program is for students in grades five through seven and runs year-round on each Thursday at the Falls Church Community Center. The program runs from 4:20 p.m. through 6 p.m.
Volunteer mentors should be 21 years old and above and be able to volunteer for a minimum of one calendar year. They will receive thorough training. For more information about the 1-2-1 Mentoring Program, contact Jessica Reyes, program coordinator, at 703-219-2106 or jreyes@nvfs.org.
