Sunset Cinema Returns To Falls Church, Public Vote To Decide 1 Movie
Sunset Cinema is a fall tradition of outdoor movies in Cherry Hill Park. The public will decide the movie choice for one night.
FALLS CHURCH, VA — Even when the summer ends, Falls Church residents have something else to look forward to: a returning outdoor movie series.
Sunset Cinema will once again return to Cherry Hill Park, 312 Park Avenue, Falls Church, VA. The family-friendly movie series includes two movies already chosen and one people's choice that will be decided by a public vote.
The schedule includes the new "Super Mario Bros. Movie" on Sept. 29, "Elemental" on Oct. 6, and the people's choice winner on Oct. 13.

Residents can vote for the Oct. 13 movie by Aug. 25. The choices include "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial," "Lightyear," and "Space Jam: A New Legacy."
Movies will start at dusk, or around 7:45 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early and bring blankets, bug spray, and a picnic. Drinks, popcorn and snacks will be available to buy with cash at the event.

In the event of inclement weather, movies would be rescheduled to the Friday after the last scheduled movie.
