'A True Blessing In My Life': Falls Church Graduation Shoutout

FALLS CHURCH, VA — Graduation is a major milestone and deserves to be celebrated! That's why Patch and T-Mobile have teamed up to recognize our community's outstanding 2024 graduates.

Mathew is one of the kindest teens I have ever met. He enjoys playing volleyball, both on a team and for fun. He is a sweetheart who cares a lot about his family and is a smart young man that I’m very sure will go far in life. He is both ambitious and very determined on achieving what he sets his mind to. He’s a great role model for his 3 younger siblings because he shows them that being a good student, having a part-time job, doing a sport and being a kind person are all possible.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about your graduating student nominee?

I want everyone to know that Mathew is the best stepson any mother could ask for. He’s taught me how to be a mom before I had my own and I have learned a lot from him. He’s a true blessing in my life and I couldn’t picture my children’s life without their amazing big brother ❤️
