SEVEN CORNERS, VA — As airports especially become busy during the travel season and holidays, travelers can seek an option to get through security checkpoints faster.

Temporary pop-up enrollment centers for TSA PreCheck are planned at AAA locations in Tysons and Seven Corners in August. The mobile Transportation Security Administration truck will be on site to enroll applicants in TSA PreCheck, an expedited screening process at participating U.S. airport security checkpoints. AAA's TSA PreCheck enrollment pop-ups proved popular last fall, filling up weeks in advance.

"With the busy summer travel season in full swing, this TSA PreCheck enrollment opportunity couldn’t come at a better time for travelers anticipating long airport lines," said AAA Mid-Atlantic spokesperson Ragina Ali in a statement. "TSA PreCheck enables identified, low-risk air travelers to enjoy an expedited and efficient security screening experience."
