City of Falls Church police are who broke into a home while the residents were asleep inside. No one was injured, but the bandits made away with a laptop computer and stole credit card information from the device and made duplicate cards to make purchases.

Former chair of the Falls Church City Public Schools board Joan Wodiska made her first presentation as president of the Friday in Williamsburg. Wodiska’s President’s Platform that included her new initiative, “Food for Thought,” which is designed to fight childhood hunger, has two main goals: Reduce childhood hunger and provide all students with healthier, more nutritious school meals.
