Suburu Dealership Donates $20K To Preserve NoVA' Natural Beauty
Sheehy Suburu of Fredericksburg recently donated $20,000 to the Northern Virginia Conservation Trust.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Sheehy Subaru of Fredericksburg recently donated $20,000 to the Northern Virginia Conservation Trust through Subaru of America’s annual Share the Love Event.
“This donation reflects what we value most — giving back to the communities and causes that sustain us,” said DJ Bruce, general manager of Sheehy Subaru of Fredericksburg. “Protecting open space and preserving the natural beauty of Northern Virginia is something our team and customers care deeply about, and we’re proud to help fund that mission again this year.”
During the most recent Share the Love event, Subaru of America contributed $250 with Sheehy Subaru of Fredericksburg adding $50 for every vehicle sold, plus an additional $5 for every routine maintenance service completed during the campaign, which ran from November 2024 through January 2025.

“The generous, long-term support from Sheehy Subaru of Fredericksburg is truly extraordinary,” said Alan Rowsome, executive director of NVCT. “This funding helps us protect the green spaces, waterways, and natural treasures that define Northern Virginia’s identity — and ensures that future generations can enjoy them as we do today.”
NVCT’s mission is to preserve the land, water and character of Northern Virginia. Sheehy Suburu of Fredericksburg selected NVCT as its Hometown Charity, so that the impact of each donation would be close to home.

Now in its 17th year, the annual Share the Love Event has generated more than $320 million in donations to national and local charities across the U.S.
