3 Plead Guilty After City Bank Robbery
Bank robbers nabbed after Fredericksburg stick-up plead guilty in federal court.

Three Maryland men have pled guilty to a host of charges relating to a series of 24 bank robberies throughout the greater Washington, D.C. region.
Derek Tompkins, age 36, David Lowery, age 37, both of Upper Marlboro, Md. and Tyre Johnson, age 28, of Temple Hills, Md. each submitted guilty pleas over the last week before U.S. District Judge Henry Hudson in Richmond. Each was charged with conspiracy to interfere with commerce by robbery and using, carrying and brandishing a firearm during a bank robbery.
During their crime spree, the trio made off with more than $1 million.
The three face a maximum of 20 years behind bars for the conspiracy charges and up to life imprisonment for the firearms charges. They will be sentenced in February and March of next year.
All of the suspects are already behind bars for their role in the robbery of a Union First Market Bank in Fredericksburg in November 2010.
