- A Pandemic fraud scheme sentences four Fredericksburg families to prison. The families conspired to apply for pandemic unemployment benefits in their own name and various other names. Authorities claim one individual used the money to buy a firearm, a diamond ring, a Chanel purse, and Louboutin shoes. (Fredericksburg Patch)
- St. Mary's Catholic Church submitted a permit request to City Council that consolidates seven existing special use permits and expands the lots. - On Jun. 7, a former Stafford County Police Officer was killed in a motorcycle crash, leaving behind a wife and two young daughters. After the crash, a GoFundMe was started to support the family, which has now reached more than $32K.
