FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 17, 2011

BURGLARY:

100 block Kings Mill Ct, Nov. 16 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person entered the home through a rear window and stole a television and a pair of shoes. The investigation is ongoing.

ARSON:

Visitor’s Center, 706 Caroline St, Nov. 16 2:00 p.m. The Fire Department and police responded to the public restrooms for a report of a small fire in the men’s facility. The paper products which had been set on fire were extinguished by the attendant prior to the arrival of emergency personnel. A witness reported that a black male wearing a scarf and a white tank top was seen running from the building just before the fire’s discovery. The investigation is ongoing.

LARCENY:

ABC Store, 507 William St, Nov. 16 10:45 a.m. An employee reported that a female subject accompanied by a male stole a bottle of liquor by concealing it under her clothing. The investigation is ongoing.

Sunoco, 201 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Nov. 16 3:20 p.m. The manager reported that a white female stole a candy bar from a shelf and ran from the store when confronted. The investigation is ongoing.

ARRESTS:

Mindy Forrester, 20, of Spotsylvania was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.

Shaun Smith, 32, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a warrant from Fairfax charging him with obtaining drugs by false pretenses.
