Attempted Break-In Reported

FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS THURSDAY, DECEMBER 22, 2011

ATTEMPTED BREAKING AND ENTERING:

800 block Moncure St, Dec. 21 8:00 p.m. A neighbor reported that he heard glass breaking but he wasn’t certain of the source of the sound. Officers checked the homes in the vicinity and found a window broken on the rear of a house and a piece of patio furniture pushed up beneath the window. The owner of the house returned while police were on the scene; the house was checked and nothing further was discovered. The investigation is ongoing.

LARCENY:

1000 block Heritage Park, Dec. 19 9:20 p.m. – Dec. 21 5:30 a.m. A resident reported that her wallet and other items of value were stolen from her unsecured vehicle.    No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1400 block Kenmore Ave, Dec. 20 5:00 p.m. – 11:15 p.m. A resident reported that a Christmas tree and decorations were stolen from her front porch. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Dec. 21 5:50 p.m. An employee reported that a male subject picked up food and a newspaper and left the store without paying for the items. No known suspect at this time.

COUNTERFEITING:

AC Moore, 1833 Carl D Silver Pkwy, Dec. 21 5:10 p.m. An employee reported that a female subject attempted to make a purchase using a counterfeit bill. When the employee refused to accept the currency, the female fled from the store. No known suspects at this time.

ARRESTS:

Robert Nash, 46, of King George was arrested for domestic assault and battery.

Odessa Johnson, 20, of Stafford was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.

Andrew Foster, 45, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication.
