FREDERICKSBURG, VA—If you're looking for a way to find out more about local candidates in the June 11 primary elections in Stafford County and the City of Fredericksburg, here's a good start. The Stafford and Fredericksburg branches of the NAACP will host a Candidate Forum 7 p.m. Friday, May 17, in the Strong Tower Annex at 234 Ferry Road in Fredericksburg (South Stafford County).

Here's a list of who has been invited:

  • Laura Sellers and Qasim Rashid (Democrats for Senate District 28)
  • Kecia Evans and Jess Foster (Democrats for House District 88)
  • Bob Thomas and Paul Milde (Republicans for House District 28)
  • Ben Hixon and Amy Laufer (Democrats for Senate District 17)
  • Rich Breeden and Bryce Reeves (Republicans for Senate District 17)
