Cornell Street Residents Report Vehicle Tampering
A number of residents on Cornell Street report that their vehicles have been tampered with, and in some cases broken into. Read more details in today's City Blotter.

FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS MONDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2011
LARCENY:
1300 block Dixon St, Sept. 30 9:15 a.m. A City employee reported that a manhole cover was stolen from the street. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
1200 block Payne St, Sept. 30 7:50 p.m. A resident reported that her wallet and iPhone were stolen from her unsecured vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

200 block Harris St, Sept. 30 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. A juvenile resident reported that his iPod was stolen from the hood of a car, which is where he placed it while playing basketball. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
700 block Cornell St, Sept. 16 – Oct.1 3:15 p.m. A resident reported that she had twice found evidence that someone had tampered with her vehicle, and on one of the occasions some loose change and chewing gum were stolen from the center console. Another resident on the street also reported an incident of vehicle tampering. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

2300 block Forrest Ave, Oct.1 10:30 p.m. A Spotsylvania resident reported that her purse was stolen from her vehicle. A suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.
Best Western, 2205 Plank Rd, Oct.1 6:45 p.m. – 11:25 p.m. A guest reported that her suitcase was stolen after it was unloaded from her charter bus into the parking lot. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
300 block Hansen Ave, Oct.2 10:45 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. A resident reported that her purse was stolen from her unsecured vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
VANDALISM:
1300 block Forest Village, Sept. 30 9:30 p.m. – Oct.1 12:30 a.m. A resident reported that graffiti was written on her door in permanent marker. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
DUI ARRESTS:
Bret Olsen, 32, of Spotsylvania was arrested for DUI and possession of marijuana in the 1800 block of Carl D Silver Pkwy.
Douglas McWhirt, 65, of Fredericksburg was arrested in the 900 block of Lafayette Blvd.
Danrell Pinkney, 25, of Spotsylvania was arrested for DUID, hit and run, and child endangerment in the 300 block of Howison Ave.
April Loudermilk, 32, of Fredericksburg was arrested in the 300 block of Prince Edward St.
ARRESTS: William Clinton, 21, of Falmouth was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.
Ruby Washington, 52, of Fredericksburg was arrested for abuse of the 911 system and making a false police report.
Jessica Fisher, 25, of Spotsylvania was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.
Timothy Sanders, 26, of Montross was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart and on a warrant from Westmoreland County charging him with failure to appear in court.
Michael Cooke, 48, of no fixed address was arrested for public intoxication.
Deshaun Edwards, 20, of Stafford was arrested for public intoxication.
John Newett, 25, of Spotsylvania was arrested for domestic assault and battery and preventing another person from calling 911.
Heather Reeve, 18, of Culpeper was arrested for felony shoplifting from Target, conspiracy to commit shoplifting, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Juvenile female, 17, was arrested for shoplifting from Target.
