Crimson Coward Opens In Stafford, Plans New Fredericksburg Location

STAFFORD, VA — Crimson Coward Nashville Hot Chicken has opened a new restaurant in the Embrey Mill Town Center in Stafford.

The new location is the restaurant chain’s second in Virginia. Crimson Coward already has a location in Woodbridge and plans to open another location in Fredericksburg this spring.

The Stafford restaurant is located at the intersection of Courthouse Road and Austin Ridge Drive.

Crimson Coward plans to open a total of 25 locations in Virginia and another 25 locations in Maryland in the coming years.

“This new store brings the core menu with the signature Crimson Rub spice combination, along with our fresh made signature sides like Joey Eat fries, fried pickles, homemade mac n cheese and the Crimson onion,” said Nabil Asad of Restaurant Management Group-Mid Atlantic (RMG-MA) and store owner. “We are extremely honored to be a part of this growing brand and its expansion in the DMV-area.”

Crimson Coward Nashville Hot Chicken offers a variety of hand cut, marinated chicken meals and homemade sides. Each restaurant features an open kitchen design. The Stafford restaurant plans to hold a customer appreciation event in March.

Launched in California in 2019, Crimson Coward plans to open an additional 200 restaurants nationwide by 2027.
