Death Threat At Fredericksburg Business Prompts Police Investigation

Fredericksburg Police are trying to identify a man they say made a death threat against employees at a city business on Feb. 18.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Fredericksburg City Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man they say threatened employees at a city auto parts store.

On Feb. 18, a man walked into the AutoZone at 2005 Plank Road, argued with several employees and threatened to shoot them, according to police. The man was escorted out of the store and drove off in a white Hyundai Sonata with Maryland tags: 8GK-3877.

As he drove away, the man threatened to have the employees killed, authorities said.

On Wednesday, police released photos of the suspect and the car he drove off in, with a request that the public share tips on his name and whereabouts.
