Fatal Wreck Due to Medical Emergency, Says Investigators
Driver lost control of his vehicle Wednesday night and eventually crashed into a tree, according to Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office.

SPOTSYLVANIA, VA — A fatal wreck Wednesday night was due to the driver suffering a medical emergency, according to the Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office.
The driver in the single-vehicle wreck, Earl Spencer, 57, of Spotsylvania, was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to investigators, Spencer was driving his 1990 Ford pickup truck on Massaponax Church Road, near Marigold Lane at approximately 10 p.m. when he suffered a medical emergency.
