Fraud Reported After Partygoer Loses Credit Cards

A college student reported her credit cards missing after attending a party. Read more details in today's City Blotter.

FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2011
LARCENY:

700 block Bunker Hill St, Oct. 1 10:30 p.m. – Oct. 2 8:30 p.m. A UMW student reported that her wallet was stolen while she was attending a party at the home of an acquaintance. The victim later discovered that her credit card had been used to make fraudulent purchases at several area stores. The investigation is ongoing.

1500 block Princess Anne St, Oct. 4 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. A resident reported that her bicycle was stolen from the porch. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

200 block Charles St, Sept. 30 – Oct. 1 5:00 p.m. A resident reported that a laptop computer was stolen from her room.    The investigation is ongoing.

WaWa, 1140 Carl D Silver Pkwy, Oct. 4 11:55 p.m. An employee reported that a male subject stole two cases of beer and ran out of the rear door of the business, setting off an alarm. The suspect left the scene in a maroon Mitsubishi Eclipse. The investigation is ongoing.

Robin Copeland, 28, of Spotsylvania was arrested for felony shoplifting from Walmart and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Joseph Langille, 24, of Stafford was arrested on a warrant from Spotsylvania charging him with making threats.

Juvenile male, 17, was arrested for shoplifting from Target.
