Hottest Temps of 2016 This Week
The first extended bit of hot and humid weather to hit Northern Virginia is going to steam up even more this week across the region, according to weather forecasters.
"An official heat wave is likely to occur along the I-95 corridor from Washington, D.C. to Philadelphia," writes AccuWeather meteorologist Brett Rathbun. "This will be the hottest weather so far this year." >>> Read more.

Starbucks Overcharges Some Customers
Your favorite Starbucks drink may cost more starting next week, and you may have already seen the increase due to a computer "system error" last week. The increase was expected to begin on Tuesday, July 12.
"Unfortunately, that price adjustment was prematurely entered into the point of sale systems in our U.S. company-operated stores," according to a Starbucks statement. "As a result, some customers were charged incorrectly." >>> Read more.

PBS Apologizes for Old DC Fireworks Footage
