Over 800 Fentanyl Pills Seized From Fredericksburg Apartment: Police
More than 800 fentanyl pills were seized by police officers in a Fredericksburg apartment on Tuesday when they executed a search warrant.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — More than 800 fentanyl pills were found in a Fredericksburg apartment Tuesday morning when police executed a search warrant, according to the Fredericksburg Police Department.
At about 6:30 a.m., the Fredericksburg Police Department’s Special Equipment Tactical Team entered the apartment in the 600 block of Greenbrier Court. Inside the apartment, officers found the fentanyl pills as well as about 300 grams of marijuana, over $10,000 in cash, and drug paraphernalia, according to police.
Jaquan Mincy, 24, of Fredericksburg was arrested on charges of possession, manufacture, or distribution of a weapon of terrorism containing fentanyl, and possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, police said.

After his arrest, Mincy was jailed at the Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
The Fredericksburg Police Department said it received help from the Virginia State Police and the FBI Fredericksburg Regional Narcotics Task Force in its investigation of Mincy’s activities.
