Residents Chase Down Bike Thief
Read more details from the weekend's police action in today's edition of the City Blotter.

FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS MONDAY, OCTOBER 31, 2011
BURGLARY/GRAND LARCENY:
Charlotte International, 1609 Dixon St, Oct. 29 7:00 p.m. – Oct. 11:40 a.m. An employee reported that he found a front window broken on the business and a vehicle stolen from the parking lot. The vehicle is a white 2005 Cadillac Deville. The investigation is ongoing.
LARCENY:
Staples, 2003 Plank Rd, Oct. 29 2:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. An employee reported that her wallet was stolen from her purse which had been stored in the employee lounge. The victim’s credit card was later used to make purchases at businesses around Richmond. The investigation is ongoing.
2000 block Fall Hill Ave, Oct. 30 6:10 p.m. Two residents reported that they witnessed a male subject stealing a bicycle from their front yard. The victims followed the suspect in their vehicle for a short distance, then jumped out of their car and chased the suspect on foot on Bunker Hill Street near Princess Anne Street. When the suspect abandoned the bike and jumped over a fence, the victims gave up the chase, retrieved their property and returned home. The suspect was described as a tall and thin black male with braids in his hair and wearing a black jacket. The investigation is ongoing.
VANDALISM:
600 block Virginia Ave, Oct. 27 4:30 p.m. – Oct. 28 9:25 a.m. A resident reported that her vehicle was dented and damaged while parked on the street. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
500 block George St, Oct. 27 1:00 p.m. – Oct. 28 9:15 a.m. A resident reported that the passenger side mirror on her vehicle was damaged. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
DUI ARRESTS:
John Bryant, 32, of Fredericksburg was arrested in the 1600 block of Carl D Silver Pkwy.
Benette Clinton, 48, of Spotsylvania was arrested for DUID in the 500 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy.
Emily Kio, 21, of Fredericksburg was arrested in the 2000 block of Idlewild Blvd.
Christopher Hlusko, 25, of Spotsylvania was arrested in the 1400 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy.
Josue Alegria, 20, of Spotsylvania was arrested for DUI and underage possession of alcohol in the 1400 block of Lafayette Blvd.
ARRESTS:
Karrie Ramsey, 36, of Spotsylvania was arrested for public intoxication and possession of controlled medication without a valid prescription.
Stacie Anderson, 42, of Fredericksburg was arrested on warrants from Louisa charging her with obtaining money by false pretenses.
Nicollette Mickles, 18, of Stafford was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.
Meaghan Deckard, 18, of Stafford was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.
Juvenile female, 17, was arrested for shoplifting from Target.
George Hardy, 29, of Spotsylvania was arrested on warrants from Spotsylvania charging him with child neglect.
Brett Childs, 20, of Partlow was arrested for possession of marijuana.
Jessica Parks, 20, of Fredericksburg was arrested for assault.
Megan Stephenson, 19, of Spotsylvania was arrested for underage possession of alcohol.
Jessica Salyers, 25, of Fredericksburg was arrested for violation of the noise ordinance.
Christopher Burke, 25, of Spotsylvania was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.
Amber Amentler, 25, of Spotsylvania was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.
Beau Rawlings, 26, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a warrant from Westmoreland charging him with felony child neglect.
Angela Rector, 22, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a warrant from Westmoreland charging her with felony child neglect.
Frederico Grant, 30, of Stafford was arrested for public intoxication.
Juvenile male, 17, was arrested for shoplifting from Walmart.
Rachel Dunai, 30, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication.
