  1. Fredericksburg Police Department has announced that the reward for information leading to the arrest of the killer of Antione Fox, who was shot dead on Jun. 10, has been doubled to $10,000. The increased tip reward aims to bring justice to Fox and provide closure to his grieving family, according to city police spokeswoman Sarah Morris. Police have identified a suspect in the case based on anonymous tips and witness descriptions, but further evidence is needed to make an arrest. (Subscription: Fredericksburg.com)
  2. A sewage release has led to a health advisory for recreational use in Goldman Creek, Rosier Creek, and the Potomac Waterfront of Colonial Beach. Approximately 1.14 million gallons of sewage were spilled, prompting emergency closures and monitoring by multiple agencies.   3. Stafford County Public Schools has received a $125,000 Career and Technical Education (CTE) Skilled Trades Grant from the Virginia Department of Education.
