Squatters Discovered in Vacant Building

FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS FRIDAY, DECEMBER 16, 2011

UNLAWFUL ENTRY:

1600 block Franklin St, Dec. 15 5:15 p.m. A property manager reported that he discovered evidence that an unknown person or persons had been camping inside the unoccupied dwelling. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

LARCENY:

300 block Hunter St, Dec. 15 10:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. A Stafford resident reported that her laptop computer was stolen from her unsecured vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

2300 block Fall Hill Ave, Dec. 15 6:30 p.m.  – 8:30 p.m. A Ruther Glen resident reported that her wallet was stolen from her unsecured vehicle.    No suspects or witnesses at this time.

VEHICLE TAMPERING:

300 block Hunter St, Dec. 15 5:15 p.m. A King George resident reported that an unknown person entered her unlocked vehicle and rummaged through the glove box. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

2400 block Fall Hill Ave, Dec. 15 8:00 p.m. A resident reported that she witnessed a male subject getting inside a vehicle and rummaging through the contents of the interior. The subject left the scene prior to police arrival, and nothing was stolen from the car. The suspect was described as a white male in his 20’s wearing a baseball hat and a dark jacket. No known suspects at this time.

ARRESTS:

Matthew Wiland, 19, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a warrant from Stafford charging him with probation violation.

Alexander Borggreen, 22, of Spotsylvania was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon.

Ashley Borggreen, 21, of Spotsylvania was arrested for public intoxication.
