Sunshine After the Storm: Weekend Forecast in Virginia

After some rough storms Thursday night, it's time for some sunshine. And there's no better time than the weekend.

The weekend begins with sunny skies and 80 degrees Saturday, with some light wind, according to the National Weather Service.

The next weather headline is going to be rising temperatures, beginning either Sunday or Monday.

The weather service puts the highs in the upper 80s, but The Weather Channel sees us getting over 90 degrees through Tuesday.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 60. East wind 5 to 9 mph.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 80. Light and variable wind becoming east 5 to 7 mph in the morning.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 59. Southeast wind 3 to 6 mph.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 83. Light and variable wind becoming south around 6 mph in the morning.

Sunday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 61. South wind around 6 mph.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 88.
