Stafford Teen Girl Flees Stalker: Police
The Stafford County Sheriff's Office is asking for tips to find the man who approached a North Stafford High student, 14, on Tuesday.

STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — Sheriff's deputies are searching for the man who made an unwanted approach Tuesday to a 14-year-old student at North Stafford High School. The girl ran away, and the Stafford County Sheriff's Office says that deputies will monitor the area this week for suspicious activity.
The teenager told deputies that she was walking home at about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday on a path behind the school, near Catherine Lane, when she encountered a man, described as white and possibly in his 30s.
He offered to walk her home, but she refused. "He persisted in his request and reached out towards her," the sheriff's office said, but she fled and did not see him again.
