Two Spotsylvania Burglary Suspects Arrested During Traffic Stop
Spotsylvania deputies arrested two burglary suspects Tuesday during a traffic stop near Massaponax Drive.

Two burglary suspects were arrested Tuesday after officers discovered stolen property in their car during a traffic stop in Fredericksburg.
The stolen property in question was discovered while officers conducted a traffic stop of a suspicious vehicle near Massaponax Drive, where a reported burglary recently took place.
Deputies from the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office and Special Investigations Unit arrested Daniel Byram, 27, of Spotsylvania. Byram was charged with possession of heroin, possession of marijuana, grand larceny and breaking and entering.

Jeffrey Howard, 25, also of Spotsylvania, was arrested and charged with possession of heroin, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
“This was great work and excellent teamwork between the Special Investigations Unit, CID and the Patrol Deputies working in the area,” said Sheriff Roger L. Harris in a statement. “This time of year, is especially wrought with property crimes, such as Breaking and Entering. Our Deputies are cognizant of this and are ever vigilant in their efforts to arrest these individuals.”
