Umbrella, Bike, Laptop Stolen in City

FREDERICKSBURG POLICE INCIDENTS FRIDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2011
LARCENY:
500 block Lafayette Blvd, Dec. 7 7:30 a.m. – Dec. 8 6:00 a.m. A resident reported that her umbrella was stolen from her front porch. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Handymart, 3054 Plank Rd, Dec. 8 1:00 p.m. An employee reported that a male subject asked to see an item of merchandise from a glass case and then grabbed the item and walked out of the store without paying for it. No known suspects at this time.
200 block South St, Dec. 8 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. A resident reported that his bicycle was stolen from the front yard. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
1100 block Caroline St, Dec. 8 3:15 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. A resident reported that his laptop computer was stolen from his apartment. A suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.
VANDALISM:
700 block Stuart St, Dec. 9 2:00 a.m. A resident reported that he confronted a male and female who were walking on Stuart Street and carrying a city “No Parking” sign. After the confrontation, the couple dropped the sign at the corner of Washington Avenue and left the area. An officer retrieved the sign and turned it over to Public Works. No known suspects at this time.
ARRESTS:
Brittany Decarli, 21, of no fixed address was arrested on warrants from Spotsylvania charging her with grand larceny and obtaining money by false pretenses.
Kevin Watson, 26, of Stafford was arrested for possession of marijuana. Jose Pendleton, 33, of Spotsylvania was arrested for trespassing.
Kevin Aquino, 21, of Fredericksburg was arrested for public intoxication and possession of marijuana.
