  3. Spotsylvania County has become a target for data center projects, with five proposed projects that could result in over 6.6 million square feet of warehouse space. As the county seeks to attract developers, efforts are being made to address issues related to data centers, such as noise and water and electricity usage. County officials have hosted community meetings to discuss plans and concerns, aiming to ensure that data centers have minimal impact on residents and function as good neighbors.
