SNAPS Poetry & Spoken Word
When: Friday, May 24 - 8:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.
Where: Katora Coffee, 615 Caroline St., Fredericksburg, VA 22401
What: Sip on coffee and reflect on poetry at this spoken word event at Katora Coffee. This event features spoken word poetry, rap and storytelling in a supportive and inclusive atmosphere. Sign-ups start at 7:30 p.m., then the mic opens at 8:00 p.m.

Comedy Night At Veterans Growing America

Memorial Day Cookout
When: Monday, May 27 - 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.
Where: Wynlakes Golf & Country Club, 16400 Four Seasons Dr., Montclair, VA 22025
What: The Wynlakes Golf & Country Club, located 30 minutes from Fredericksburg, is hosting a Memorial Day get-together with a delicious cookout. There will be hamburgers, hot dogs and more. Open seating is available in the ballroom or on the patio deck.
