Woodbridge Couple Faces Organized Retail Theft Charges In Stafford
A Woodbridge couple was arrested after leaving a Stafford Target in connection with the theft of two vacuum cleaners and cordless massager.

STAFFORD, VA — A Woodbridge couple was arrested Monday afternoon soon after leaving Stafford Market Place in connection with a theft of two vacuum cleaners and a cordless massager from Target, according to the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.
The suspects, Aaron Richardson, 56, and Denise Schultz, 57, were charged with organized retail theft. Schultz was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $25,000 secured bond, and Richardson was held without bond.
On Monday, at around 1:30 p.m., a sheriff’s deputy responded to the Target at 1090 Stafford Market Place for the report of a theft.

Target staff told police they saw the couple in the process of stealing items from the store. When deputies arrived, staff told them that the couple had left in a black Audi.
At the Garrisonville Road intersection, deputies conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle. The two vacuum cleaners and massager, totaling $660 in value, were found in the vehicle, according to the sheriff’s office.

The sheriff’s office learned that the couple had been involved in five other larcenies from Targets in both Stafford County and Fairfax County. Their grand total of stolen items was more than $5,400, according to the sheriff’s office.
