2023 Holiday Lights Guide: Displays To Visit Around Greater Alexandria

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Between gift buying and holiday feasts, the holiday season is a more expensive time for many families in greater Alexandria. But one free activity we can rely on is a visit to local holiday home displays.

We asked Greater Alexandria Patch readers to submit their displays so their neighbors know which holiday lights are worth seeing. • Collingwood Lights, 1601 Collingwood Road, Alexandria, VA: Holly's Tacky Christmas Lights reports that Bill Vaughan is doing a small display with animations but no music. After an injury in 2020, Vaughan is focused on recovery and hopes to bring back the display in 2024. Collingwood Lights was the 2018 winner of ABC's Great Christmas Light Fight.
