Arrest Made In Killing Of Woman Found In Mount Vernon Hospital Parking

A murder charge has been placed after a woman was found dead in the Inova Mount Vernon Hospital parking lot.

HYBLA VALLEY, VA — Detectives have identified and arrested a suspect in the killing of a woman found in the Inova Mount Vernon Hospital parking lot.

Police had received a report of an unconscious woman in a vehicle in the hospital parking lot at 8033 Holland Road around 10:45 a.m. on April 13. Police and fire found Brenda Ochoa Guerrero, 33, of Alexandria dead at the scene with apparent upper body trauma. An autopsy later revealed she died of an apparent upper body gunshot wound.

Detectives found surveillance footage showing two men park Ochoa Guerrero's car around 1:11 a.m. and flee the area in another vehicle. Four people were arrested and charged with felony concealment of a dead body.

One of those suspects is now facing a murder charge. With forensic evidence, detectives charged Eric Antonio Rubio, 36, of Alexandria, with second-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Rubio is being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.

The others charged with concealment of a body are David Littlefield, 43, of Alexandria, Eric Thompson, 36, of Alexandria and Yuris Pineda Gallegos, 29, of Maryland.
