Burger 21 Joins 'Fast Casual' Bandwagon in Tysons
This burger joint was founded by the owners of The Melting Pot Restaurants Inc.

Orlando-based Burger 21, founded by the creators of the fondue franchise The Melting Pot, is planning on opening four new locations in the D.C. metro region, including one in the Alexandria area of Fairfax County.
The exact location of the local Burger 21 remains a secret, but another location is opening in Tysons Corner.
"We have a great deal of franchising experience in the Greater D.C. area and look forward to bringing this fresh, new concept to residents in the surrounding communities," said Ray Patel, one of the franchisees who has signed on to develop the D.C. locations, in a press release. "With chef-inspired burgers, shakes, hot dogs, chicken tenders, salads and more, we are confident that Burger 21 will quickly become one of our guests' favorite lunch and dinner destinations."
