Burglars Flee When Woman Awakens: Police

Police say two suspects broke into a home off of Telegraph Road in the early hours Saturday.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- A woman woke up early Saturday to find two burglary suspects in her home, according to police.

The burglary took place early Saturday morning, at 5:45 a.m., in the 6100 block of Bayliss Place (see map below). The neighborhood is located off of Telegraph Road.

An unknown person forced entry into a home while the resident, a 62-year-old woman, was sleeping, police said. An investigation determined there were two suspects. They fled when the victim awoke.

Several items were missing from the home, police said. No suspect description is available.
