Fairfax County Power Outages Reported Monday After Winds, Rain
Scattered power outages reported across the county Monday in Vienna, Fort Hunt and Falls Church area and other parts of Northern Virginia.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- A stormy start to the week in Northern Virginia left more than 2,500 homes without power Monday across Fairfax County, according to Dominion Power. Winds and rain downed trees and power lines, according to the power company.
The number of outages were a 2,762 around 12 noon; about eight hours later, 333 homes were without power across Northern Virginia and of those, 216 were in Fairfax County.

Much of the Northern Virginia region was under a wind advisory until 7 p.m. Temperatures were in the 40s Monday afternoon and a light rain was continuing to fall throughout the area.
