Metropolitan School of the Arts to Celebrate 11 Years of Its Showcase
Alexandria, Va. Performing Arts Academy to Showcase Theatre Show in Tysons, Va.
Metropolitan School of the Arts (MSA), a non-profit performing arts school in Alexandria, Va., will perform its 11th Anniversary Showcase, Fri., May 10 and Sat., May 11 at 7 p.m. both days. The Academy Showcase will be presented at The Vault at Capital One Hall in Tysons, Va., located at 7750 Capital One Tower Rd. Eighteen MSA students, ages 13 to 18, will present selections from Oklahoma!, Moulin Rouge, The Burn, Something Rotten and many more. The 2024 Academy Showcase illustrates the enduring power of the performing arts to adapt and resonate with audiences across generations. Tickets are $30 each at “The Academy Showcase is where we combine all of our talents and expertise from the past school year and create a remarkable ensemble of artistry for the public,” said Sara Hart, executive director of Metropolitan School of the Arts of Alexandria, Va.
As a non-profit organization, Metropolitan School of the Arts relies on the generous donations of sponsors and the community to sustain operations for its daytime and evening programming.
ABOUT METROPOLITAN SCHOOL OF THE ARTS (MSA) Based in Alexandra, Va., the 501 (c) 3 organization is a performing arts studio founded in 2013 by Melissa Dobbs.
