But if you are a Packers fan, you may want to stay clear of the Alley Cat, some say Steelers meetup groups have been known to populate the area.

Regulars brag about The Light House’s casual atmosphere and extensive beer list, which changes with the seasons.  There are TVs, pool tables, and on most nights live music. As one yelp user said “the vibe here is relaxed and it seems like you are always seated next to someone who is local and just stopping in to enjoy a drink.” And who could argue with that.

Yelp users rave about the half-priced burgers and hearty beers at Southside 815.  Football fans can cheer on their hometown team on one of the 13 TVs.  And it’s one place in Old Town where you won’t have to worry about parking, because there is a garage located just behind Southside 815.

Sure it’s chain restaurant but that doesn’t mean the wings aren’t good and the beer isn’t cheap.  Yelp users seem to have a love-hate relationship with the chilli, but who needs those kind of squabbles when there is a game on.

If your family is split on spending the day glued to the TV or skipping it in favor for a nice simple meal, Rampart’s Tavern & Grill may be for you. Yelp users say that the restaurant area boasts good food and simplicity, “so you aren't forced to sit with the crazy sports fans.” Word of warning: if you are non-smoker who can’t stand cigarette smoke then Rampart’s might not be for you.
