Senior Alert Issued For Missing Fairfax County Man: Police

Solomon Dadzie was last seen in Alexandria and possibly boarded a Metro train bound for Maryland, police said.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA — Authorities have issued a senior alert for a missing Fairfax County man last seen Friday.

Solomon Dadzie, 79, was last seen around 6 p.m. in the 4700 block of Chambliss Street, according to Fairfax County police. Police said he may have boarded a Metro train bound for Maryland.

Authorities said Dadzie may be a danger to himself because he suffers from a cognitive impairment.

Dadzie is described as a Black male who is approximately 5-feet 8-inches tall and weighs 165 pounds. He has brown eyes and gray hair. He was last seen wearing a burgundy hat, gray jacket and khaki pants. He also walks with a cane, police said.
