LINCOLNIA, VA — A juvenile was shot outside a Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Lincolnia Tuesday night, according to Fairfax County Police.

The shooting happened before 8 p.m. in the 6500 block of Little River Turnpike in Lincolnia. Police received multiple calls for a shooting and found the 14-year-old victim, who was shot in the arm. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives believe the shooting was not random. Investigations revealed the victim and another person were standing outside Tropical Smoothie Cafe when the shooting happened. The victim and the other person ran a short distance away and called police. There were no other reported injuries from the shooting.
