By Saturday morning, conditions were drastically better than the day prior, where it was highly recommended that no one should be outside if they do not need to be or make your times outside brief. - Harrisonburg has finally joined the wave and opened a Crumbl Cookies located on Burgess Road between Walmart and Home Depot. It took a bit more than a year before the company was able to establish itself in Harrisonburg, but co-owner Paul Howell is happy that it's finally here. The cookie shop will be open Monday to Saturday and the new weekly flavors will be announced every Sunday night so you know what to look forward to on the rotating menu. (WHSV)
- After returning and serving at the Salvation Army for a second time, Captain Duane Burleigh is again retiring.
