• Alumna's documentary premieres at Court Square Theater on Thursday (emu.edu) — Harrisonburg residents can catch a new 20-minute documentary about El Paisano Bakery’s owners at Court Square Theater this Thursday evening, with pay-what-you-will tickets. The film, co-directed by a local peacebuilding grad, explores the couple’s immigrant journey, family life, and running a downtown bakery, followed by a panel, cake, and a nearby Latin Dance Night celebration.
   

• Harrisonburg extends winter bus hours through mid-January (whsv.com) — Harrisonburg is extending city bus service hours from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday now through January 17, with no service on Sundays, Christmas, or New Year’s Day. Route 1 will run every 30 minutes, and riders can use the Passio GO! app or the city website to track buses and plan trips during the busy holiday season.
