  1. Harrisonburg's very own Fire Chief was named Virginia Fire Chief of the Year. Fire Chief Matthew Tobia was named the state's Fire Chief of the Year in February. He was nominated in secret by his wife and friends and was presented with the award at the annual Virginia Fire Rescue Conference in Virginia Beach by Gov. Youngkin. (The Breeze)
  2. A senior studio art major at James Madison University supported the LGBTQ community when designing a door for the "Opening Doors: Art of Inclusion" initiative. Her design, featuring the rainbow colors of the pride flag, was created so "people can look at the door with love and not hate and with an understanding of people’s different lifestyles and not see it as a stain on Harrisonburg." (The Breeze)
  3. A wreck down the road near Timberville has claimed the life of one victim. Around 4:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Mar. 22, Virginia State Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in Rockingham County. One person is confirmed to be dead. The story is still developing. (WHSV)
