Man Tries To Steal Beer, Falls Asleep In Bathroom: Herndon Police
Police say a man got into a Herndon business trying to steal a case of beer, and instead fell asleep in the bathroom.

HERNDON, VA -- A man has been arrested after he entered a Herndon business and tried to steal a case of beer, but fell asleep in the bathroom before the store closed and ended up locked inside, police say.
Police were called to the 1000 block of Elden Street on March 1 to a report of a commercial burglar alarm, according to a report from the Herndon Police Department.
Police found 27-year-old Oscar Rivera of Herndon locked inside, "attempting to steal a case of beer," the report states.

"Rivera told officers he fell asleep in the bathroom before the store closed and was planning on leaving the store with the beer," it adds.
Rivera was arrested for burglary and sent to jail where is being held without bond, police say.
